Present Continuous

Form

We use a form of to be  the infinitive of the verb.

to be (am, are, is)


Affirmative sentences:

I am riding a horse.
He/she/it is riding a horse.
We/you/they are riding a horse.


Negative sentences:

I am not riding a horse.
He/she/it is not riding a horse.
We/you/they are not riding a horse.


Questions:

In the Present Progressive we put am, are or is before the subject

Am I riding a horse?
Is he/she/it riding a horse?
Are we/you/they riding a horse?
